| CLT20 debut | 2012 |
A fierce competitor and a batsman who can destroy a bowling attack with his wide range of shots, Paul Collingwood came on board with the Scorchers as one of our international players for BBL. Starring on the world stage in T20, Collingwood led England to the World T20 title in Barbados – their first ever win at an ICC men’s event. With an international career spanning a decade, Collingwood is regarded as one of the most dynamic fielders in the world, and a genuine all-rounder with cutting medium pace deliveries and flair with the bat. He has a strike-rate of 125 runs per 100 balls in 35 T20 internationals and 63 domestic T20 games for Durham and IPL side Delhi Daredevils, and has also taken 61 wickets at an average of 16.7, with a best of 5/14.
