Azhar Mahmood is one of the most successful all-rounders in first-class cricket and he amply proved that while helping the Aces to victory in the HRV Cup. The former Pakistani international has taken close to 1,200 wickets and scored in excess of 35,000 runs in a career that dates back to 1993 and includes stints with a host of different county sides. His ability to build an innings and find the boundary with an array of shots as well as bamboozle batsmen with a huge variety of slower balls make him a huge asset to the Aces.
