Gale replaces Harris for BBL
Technical Committee approves change to Brisbane squad
The KFC T20 Big Bash League Technical Committee has approved a change to the Brisbane Heat squad.
While paceman Ryan Harris is continuing his comeback from shoulder surgery he will be unavailable for the duration of the league. He has been replaced by 29-year-old quick Matthew Gale.
Gale was a contracted player for the Heat last season and played his first match of the season for Queensland in its RYOBI One-Day Cup bonus point win against New South Wales, taking a crucial three wickets as the Bulls kept in touch with runaway competition leaders Victoria and South Australia.
