0 Number of matches lost by the Sydney Sixers in the tournament out of the six they played. The Sixers thus became the first team to remain undefeated during a CLT20 campaign.

1 Sydney Sixers provided the first instance of a side opening the bowling with two spinners (Nathan McCullum and Steven O’Keefe) in a CLT20 match. Incidentally Janaka Gunaratne and Sanath Jayasuriya opened the bowling for Ruhuna against Trinidad & Tobago in 2009 and against Leicestershire in 2011 respectively in Qualifier games.

Mike Hussey and Murali Vijay had added 103 runs also for the first wicket for the Chennai Super Kings against the Warriors at Johannesburg in 2010.

226 Runs scored by Michael Lumb in the tournament – the most in this edition. He went ahead of Gulam Bodi’s tally of 208 runs.
