Gurvayur: India's second Test hero and Kings XI Punjab fast bowler S Sreesanth visited the Sri Krishna Temple in Guruvayur as part of a day-long trip to his home state, Kerala.

"I have come for a day and I will be visiting the Guruvayur temple," Sreesanth told reporters at the airport.

Sreesanth was declared Man of the Match in the Kanpur Test against Sri Lanka where India recorded its 100th Test victory.

Saturday is considered an auspicious day for devotees of the Sri Krishna Temple as it is Ekadashi, according to the Hindu calendar.

Sreesanth and his parents are regular visitors to the Krishna temple. He rejoined the team on Sunday.
