






































In a remarkable day of domestic T20, both semi-finals were decided by one-over eliminators.
Will Jefferson was the hero for Leicestershire in a rain-affected first semi-final, striking two fours and a six in the eliminator to overhaul Lancashire.s total of 13, while in the second semi-final, Somerset edged defending champions Hampshire to qualify for CLT20.


The tournament returns to India this year with matches in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata, as well as a qualifying event in Hyderabad. The main tournament will run from 23 September-9 October with the Qualifier immediately beforehand from 19-21 September.

The 10-team CLT20 will follow the same format as 2010 and will be held in Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata from 23 September to 9 October. Before the tournament kicks off however, a six-team event will be played in Hyderabad from 19-21 September to decide the final three teams that qualify for the main event.

The two matches that were scheduled to be played in Kolkata on 1 October 2011, have been shifted to Bengaluru. The Kolkata Police requested this change, in view of the Durga Pooja celebrations in the city, which commence on 2 October 2011.
